“The boat bore all life’s treasures down the river, like passions held in a basket... pomegranate, molasses, dates.”
Kuphars are a traditional round boat used on Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Their name derives from both Arabic and Akkadian words meaning a woven basket of reeds.
Handcrafted in 18ct yellow gold, this ring has a beautiful brushed finish which appears luminous as it catches the light. The textured segments on the sides of the ring shank depict the bark of date palm trees, the granules representing the river currents upon which the kuphar travels carrying it'sgorgeous molasses coloured tourmaline
